The Alp Adria Trail is the long distance hiking trail from Salzburg to Trieste. By road Salzburg state borders to the south with Carinthia and Tyrol but on foot one can cross through from Salzburg state into Italy near the Krimml waterfalls and the Grossvenediger peak.
